A wonderfully whimsical and highly detailed miniature, this retired 2006 Randall Zadar piece titled “Cool Little Cars #2” features an adorable little mouse driver perched behind the wheel of a tiny black Nash Metropolitan convertible, complete with gleaming silver accents and charming vintage automobile styling. Produced as #123 of Zadar’s creations, this exceptionally scarce micro miniature was limited to only 9 examples ever made in this black variation. Crafted using the ancient lost wax bronze casting process, each piece began as a hand-sculpted wax original before being individually cast and meticulously hand-finished by the artist. Despite its tiny scale, the movement, character, and playful storytelling are remarkable, making it a delightful shelf sitter for a dollhouse garage, nursery, gentleman’s study, or whimsical transportation vignette.
