Why You’ll Love It
A wonderfully elegant and exceptionally delicate Randall Zadar miniature, this retired 2001 piece titled “The Dance” was inspired by an antique German porcelain figurine, depicting a graceful dancing couple captured mid-step in classic Rococo fashion. Rendered in the sought-after studio white colorway, the flowing dress, period attire, and tiny sculpted movement create the appearance of carved ivory or antique porcelain at an astonishing miniature scale. Produced as #63 of Zadar’s creations, this micro miniature is extremely rare in the all white finish. Crafted using the ancient lost wax bronze casting process, each piece began as a hand-sculpted wax original before being individually cast and meticulously hand-finished by Randall Zadar. Romantic and refined, this tiny treasure makes a beautiful shelf sitter for a dollhouse parlor, ballroom, music room, or European-inspired vignette.
