Why You’ll Love It
An exceptionally detailed and playful Randall Zadar miniature, this retired 1997 piece titled “Three Graces Distressing Cupid” was inspired by antique porcelain sculpture and captures a lively scene of classical figures gathered around Cupid beneath a flowering tree. Tiny blossoms, flowing drapery, and softly painted pastel accents bring remarkable movement and depth to this intricate composition. Produced as #32 of Zadar’s creations, this micro miniature was limited to only 90 examples ever made. Crafted using the ancient lost wax bronze casting process, each piece began as a hand-sculpted wax original before being individually cast and meticulously hand-finished by Randall Zadar. Rich with Rococo charm and astonishing detail for its scale, this elegant treasure makes a beautiful shelf sitter for a dollhouse parlor, music room, or romantic European-inspired scene.
