Why You’ll Love It
An exceptional porcelain grocer's jar made by the retired British IGMA artisan, Terry Curran, one of the most respected names in miniature ceramics. Meticulously created in authentic 1:12 scale, the urn-shaped vessel replicates the elegant advertising jars once found lining the shelves of Victorian grocers and chemists. The creamy porcelain body is decorated with a richly detailed transfer label for "Hamlet & Sons Ltd. Established in 1820", centered around a classic merchant's emblem and finished with bold lettering reading CURRY. Deep royal-purple accents adorn the lid and neck, while brilliant hand-applied gold gilt on the rims and finial.
Perfect for displaying in a Victorian kitchen, pantry, grocery shop, apothecary, country house scullery, merchant's store, or as part of a fine miniature ceramics collection.
