The entire piece is adorned with graceful hand-painted floral swags, garlands, and scrolling ornament, surrounding a romantic Georgian pastoral vignette framed above the mantel. The refined palette and painterly detail give the piece the atmosphere of an 18th-century salon, making it a beautiful seasonal backdrop for spring or Easter displays or a permanent focal point in a refined miniature interior.
