Their expressive faces and simpler sculpting style offer a special window into Marcia’s developing artistry... a time when her creative voice was still taking shape. They add instant seasonal atmosphere to a miniature street scene, church steps, or Christmas vignette. Pieces from this early period are very hard to find.
