A charming storybook miniature inspired by Gulliver’s Travels, this retired 2016 Randall Zadar piece titled “Gulliver Collection Cottage” depicts a tiny whimsical cottage with steep tiled rooftops, bright blue windows, delicate gilded accents, and soft green landscaping nestled around its base. Part of Zadar’s enchanting Gulliver Collection Set, the design captures the fanciful spirit of fairy-tale villages and imagined worlds in miniature. Crafted in hand-painted cold-painted bronze enamel using the ancient lost wax bronze casting process, each piece began as a hand-sculpted wax original before being individually cast and meticulously finished by the artist. One of only 50 examples produced, this delightful micro miniature makes a wonderful shelf sitter for a dollhouse nursery, fantasy scene, or whimsical display.
