Why You’ll Love It
A whimsical and delightfully nostalgic miniature, this retired 2001 Randall Zadar piece titled “Little Engine #2” features a tiny bright pink locomotive with delicate gold accents, tiny blue wheel details, and a billowing puff of sculpted smoke. Produced as #55 of Zadar’s creations, this charming micro miniature was originally created as an exclusive studio design for the Zadar Collector’s Society and limited to just 141 painted examples. Crafted in hand-painted cold-painted bronze enamel using the ancient lost wax bronze casting process, each piece began as a hand-sculpted wax original before being individually cast and meticulously finished by the artist. Full of storybook character and playful detail, it makes a wonderful shelf sitter for a dollhouse nursery, toy shop, or fanciful display scene.
