Why You’ll Love It
This enchanting Tudor queen marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Loretta Kasza and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
She has an open-front overgown crafted from a rich forest green and gold metallic brocade fabric, displaying wide sleeves and fine green ribbon trim. A contrasting silver-grey dress panel down the center front, trimmed with delicate gold chain piping. A prominent, curved crescent-style hood made from the matching green and gold brocade, adorned along the brim with tiny rose-gold seed beads. Suspended from a crossed wooden overhead controller bar hanging directly from the main display beam.
Perfect for a puppet maker's shop, medieval castle, knight's hall, fantasy scene, historical theater display, royal court, Renaissance festival setting, or alongside the other custom marionettes from this extraordinary collection.

A Note About Value
Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.
Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.
A Commitment to Research
Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
