Why You'll Love It
This exquisite one-of-a-kind miniature dollhouse bed is a masterwork of Rococo (Louis XV–style) elegance, handcrafted and richly gilded by the celebrated American miniaturist June Clinkscales. Known as her Antoinette Bed, this piece features an ornate, hand-carved gilt frame with sweeping curves and sculptural detailing, paired with blue-and-white toile upholstery that evokes French aristocratic interiors. The tufted headboard and footboard are upholstered in finely scaled toile, while the bed is luxuriously dressed with a soft, knitted, cascading blanket that pools naturally as well as hand-crafted silk accent pillows. With its substantial weight and solidity, this bed anchors a scene beautifully—perfect as the centerpiece of a grand dollhouse bedroom, in a refined guest suite, or as part of a matched twin-bed arrangement for a little girls’ room.
Notably, two identical Antoinette beds are available and listed on our website, separately, offering a rare opportunity to create a perfectly coordinated interior (see other listings if you wish to acquire both).

A Note About Value
Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.
Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.
A Commitment to Research
Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
