Why You'll Love Her
This ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE 18th-century lady doll is a signed, one-of-a-kind masterpiece by esteemed English doll artist Gale Elena Bantock, dated 2025. Bantock’s work is exceptionally scarce—she does not sell online, does not take commissions, and only releases her dolls through select UK shows such as Miniatura and Kensington. Pieces like this are seldom seen outside advanced private collections.
Her figure is sculpted entirely from hand-carved, hand-painted porcelain, giving her an elegant softness and realism. Her face features Bantock’s signature dreamy, contemplative expression with fine blue eyes, softly blushed cheeks, and delicately painted rose-tinted lips.
She wears a beautifully styled 18th-century coiffure, meticulously wigged in fine blonde mohair arranged in romantic curls and rolls, adorned with tiny silk flowers and jeweled ornaments.
Her gown is a breathtaking creation in deep royal-purple silk, patterned with painterly florals and trimmed with antique lace. The fitted corset features hand-applied gold accents and a pink silk bow, while the voluminous overskirt drapes over a generous lace underskirt. In one hand she carries a petite pink silk handbag with a jeweled clasp—a unique artisan touch.
This doll is a true collector’s treasure, representing some of the most elite modern dollhouse artistry available today.

A Note About Value
Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.
Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.
A Commitment to Research
Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
