WHY YOU’LL LOVE HIM: A delightful and cuddly, unique, miniature dollhouse doll baby boy. He is made of hand sculpted and painted clay, posed in a seated position, with crinkled eyes and laughing mouth, as if he is forever mid-giggle. He is wearing a blue and white houndstooth print play romper. He has sculpted brunette hair, chubby cheeks, and a partially open-mouthed expression. He was created by the talented miniaturist, Jackie Transue and he dates back to the 1980s.

STYLING: Place this bouncing baby boy wherever you wish to surprise your viewers with a baby! He would look perfect placed in a pram, on a lap, in a crib or cradle, on a chair or bed, or even down on the ground or floor in your miniature scenes.

  • MATERIALS: Hand sculpted clay.
  • DIMENSIONS: 1:12 scale, 1 3/4" tall (seated height)
  • CONDITION: Excellent condition for his age. Carefully preserved and displayed in a museum quality setting for many years.
  • HISTORY/PROVENANCE: Original handmade vintage dollhouse miniature by Jackie Transue.
  • COLLECTION: This piece is part of the wonderful lifetime collection of Lorraine, from New Jersey.

*PLEASE NOTE: You are purchasing the doll only. Think of our photos as a whimsical stage set, where your amazing new miniature takes center stage. The other props may not join you, but the star of the show is ready to shine!

A Note About Value

Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.

Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.

A Commitment to Research

Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
