This extraordinary English tea caddy was made by master artisan Chris Malcomson is a one-of-its-kind piece. Veneered in burr oak with delicate Tunbridge style banding in ebony and fruitwood, the domed lid and curved sides were especially challenging to execute. The top is framed in Rio rosewood intricate marquetry, a carved bone keyhole and bronze roping handles. Inside, there are twin zinc-lined compartments, traditionally used to store and blend China and India teas.
