The basket is woven from ultra-fine warm-toned wood splints using a classic over-under weave, producing crisp, even rows that showcase Chandronnait's extraordinary precision. It has a softly rounded rectangular form and functional split-lid design. The two solid wood lid panels are mounted on microscopic brass hinges, allowing each side to open independently just like an authentic picnic basket. Rising gracefully through the center is a sturdy wooden handle, secured with tiny metal rivets that add another layer of remarkable realism.
