This exquisite OOAK porcelain lady by Debbie Vanstone of Heverbell Dolls is a beautifully realized glimpse into Tudor domestic life. Dressed entirely in luxurious silks, including silk velvet, she wears an elaborate costume inspired by early-to-mid 16th-century English Tudor fashion, complete with layered sleeves, fitted bodice, period headdress, and delicate trims. She is permanently seated and comes with her custom-made tall-back wood bench, as well as the tiny piece of embroidery work resting across her lap.
British artist Debbie Vanstone is renowned for her finely handcrafted historical porcelain dolls. This piece is signed on the undersides of her leather-soled shoes.
