Why You’ll Love It
Graceful and understated, this beautifully crafted Jane Seymour marionette represents the third wife of King Henry VIII and one of the most significant queens of the Tudor era. Handcrafted by artisan Almudena Gonzalez, this miniature puppet combines historical costume details with exceptional workmanship, creating a figure that feels equally at home in a royal court scene or a miniature theater display.
The doll features a hand-painted porcelain face and hands, framed by light hair tucked into an English Gable hood headdress in shades of brown and gold. She is dressed in a traditional Tudor court gown consisting of a dark, shimmering black brocade overskirt that splits down the front. This reveals a gold woven underskirt, which is further accented by a long gold chain girdle ending in a pink gemstone pendant. Her long, draped sleeves are accented with textured cream fabric trims. She hangs suspended by fine strings from a miniature wooden T-bar controller.
Perfect for a puppet theater, Tudor court scene, royal palace, historical vignette, miniature museum display, an old world nursery or playroom, or a collection of artisan marionettes and period characters.
