A whimsical miniature landscape inspired by the world of Gulliver’s Travels, this retired 2016 Randall Zadar piece titled “Gulliver Collection Base” features meandering blue waterways, tiny bridges, and sculpted landscape details accented in soft hand-painted enamel. Part of Zadar’s imaginative Gulliver Collection Set, this piece serves as the foundational setting for the five-part series while also standing beautifully on its own as a tiny sculptural display. Crafted in hand-painted cold-painted bronze enamel using the ancient lost wax bronze casting process, each piece began as a hand-sculpted wax original before being individually cast and meticulously finished by the artist. One of only 50 made, this charming micro miniature creates a delightful shelf sitter for a dollhouse fantasy scene, garden vignette, or collector display.
