Why You’ll Love It
This delightful Scottish Lass or schoolgirl marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Loretta Kasza and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
She features long blonde hair pulled back from her hand-painted porcelain face, styled with white painted stockings and black shoes. She wears a classic academic or Scottish outfit consisting of a black long-sleeved jacket accented by a prominent white lace ruffle at the collar, paired with a pleated red and black tartan plaid skirt. She hangs suspended by fine strings from a miniature wooden T-bar controller.
Perfect for a puppet maker's workshop, folk-art display, Scottish-themed scene, village setting, storybook vignette, cultural collection, children's theater, or alongside other marionettes from the treasured Maureen Collection.
