This exquisite one-of-a-kind Victorian lady doll was handcrafted by the late American miniature artist Stacy Hoffman, one of the most admired doll makers in the world of fine artisan miniatures. Her hand-painted porcelain face possesses a warm, gentle expression, framed by softly curled blonde hair arranged in an elaborate Victorian coiffure adorned with delicate flowers and a graceful pink feather plume. Her magnificent bustle gown is layered with finely pleated silk, antique lace, and richly textured mocha-brown trims. Hundreds of individually handcrafted silk flowers including tiny ribbon roses and remarkably realistic purple pansies with wired petals and leaves cascade across the skirt, bodice, and sweeping train. Elegant opera-length gloves, and a delicate choker necklace. Following Stacy Hoffman's passing in 2021, her original completed dolls have become increasingly scarce.
