It features the distinctive, elegant cabriole legs and a classic vase-shaped splat-back, hallmarks of Queen Anne furniture. The seat cushion boasts exquisite needlepoint on silk gauze scenic petit point work by fellow UK artist Nicola Mascall, hundreds of impossibly small stitches beautifully depicting a lady in a pink gown sitting serenely beneath the trees.
