Crafted entirely by hand from incredibly thin wood splints, it transforms an everyday household object into a remarkable work of miniature basketry. The rectangular basket features a traditional over-under woven splint construction. It also has two articulated swing handles with tiny metal rivets.
It would be equally suited for a picnis scene, rustic farmhouses, country kitchens, general stores, or harvest scenes.
