The set pairs a brass-toned metal microscope with a handcrafted wooden specimen case filled with tiny transparent slides bearing realistic blood samples. The fitted lid can be removed to reveal the neatly arranged specimens inside. Dated 2016, the wooden case is artisan signed, although the signature is difficult to decipher.
