Why You’ll Love It
This elegant 1:12 scale Swedish Mora clock was handcrafted by Aurearte Miniatures of Barcelona, Spain. This Scandinavian longcase clock has a graceful silhouette, hand-painted decoration, and softly aged finish. Named after the Swedish town of Mora, these distinctive clocks became icons during the late 18th and early 19th centuries. Their signature hourglass, or figure-eight, profile sets them apart from traditional English grandfather clocks. Expertly crafted from wood, this miniature features a delicately distressed palette of soft gray-blue and warm cream. Hand-painted floral vines and blossoms gracefully decorate both the long case and pendulum door, and subtle gilt highlights accent the molded base, waist, and crest. The circular clock face displays classic Roman numerals beneath a decorative molded hood, while the lower case includes the traditional pendulum viewing window.
Equally at home in a manor, French country cottage, or elegant dollhouse hall, this exquisite Mora clock brings a sense of history, refinement, and Scandinavian charm to any miniature interior.
