A rare miniature edition of Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved classic A Little Princess, the story of an imaginative girl, whose privileged life at a London boarding school changes dramatically after the death of her father. Barbara Raheb’s 1990 miniature edition contains pages of readable text bound in rich burgundy pyroxylin. The cover is especially elegant, with the title centered within a fine gilt rectangular frame crowned by large, symmetrical fleur-de-lis-inspired ornaments at the top and bottom.
Numbered #126 of 300, this rare and retired edition is a particularly lovely addition to a miniature nursery, child’s bedroom, schoolroom, or collector’s library.
