Why You’ll Love It
This is a tiny, readable miniature edition of "Burma, Painted and Described ", one of the most beautiful decorative book bindings of the early twentieth century in a perfect 1:12 scale. Carefully handcrafted by an unknown artisan, the hardcover volume faithfully reproduces the 1905 travel classic by R. Talbot Kelly, complete with its iconic Art Nouveau "Peacock Binding" and fully printed interior pages. Bound with a rich burgundy-brown cover. Three elegant peacocks, framed beneath stylized architectural arches, adorn the front cover and spine. Inside, the volume contains readable printed text and colorful illustrations, allowing collectors to enjoy it as both a display piece and a true miniature book.
Display it in a stately library, gentleman's study, travel collection, or Victorian dollhouse.
