Why You’ll Love It

This 1:12 scale OOAK character doll by celebrated French artist and IGMA Fellow Catherine Muniere features the wonderfully lifelike expression and natural movement associated with her work. The young girl has blue eyes, softly blushed cheeks, and a subtle smile, with her gaze turned slightly upward as though she is reacting to someone nearby.

Her long blonde hair is parted near the center and falls softly around her face and shoulders. She wears a full long-sleeved floral dress patterned with colorful pink, cream, blue, and green blossoms against a dark background. The neckline is finished with an oversized white openwork lace collar, accented with tiny teal buttons.

Her raised hand is sculpted into a distinct pointing or finger-wagging gesture, giving the doll an especially expressive storytelling pose. Her posable legs allow her to sit or stand, and she wears simple handmade chartreuse green shoes.

Perfect for

A child’s bedroom, nursery, family scene, playroom, school vignette, conversation scene, or fine artisan doll collection.

A Note About Value

Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.

Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.

A Commitment to Research

Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
