Why You’ll Love It
The late Daniel Phillip Kronberg had an extraordinary gift for capturing movement in his bronze sculptures, and this remarkable IGMA Fellow sculpture is a perfect example of his artistry. Titled "Eagle Fishing," the piece freezes the moment that a majestic bald eagle dives through crashing waves, talons extended toward a leaping fish just breaking the ocean's surface. Note the finely textured feathers, and curling surf. Mounted on a classic dark bronze tiered plinth. It bears Kronberg's hand-stamped "dpk" maker's mark on the back.
A striking centerpiece for a coastal library, maritime study, natural history cabinet, lodge-inspired room, or gentleman's study.
