Why You’ll Love It
This enchanting Tudor lady marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Debbie Dixon-Paver and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
Her delicately sculpted porcelain face is framed by blonde hair and a dark French hood, a distinctive silhouette associated with noblewomen of the Tudor court. The richly detailed costume features a dramatic black gown enhanced with contrasting gold overskirt and a white lace ruff collar. Suspended from a traditional rustic wooden controller with functioning puppet strings.
Perfect for a puppet maker's shop, Tudor court display, theatrical scene, Renaissance room box, historical vignette, or paired with the matching Henry VIII marionette for a charming royal performance.
