Why You’ll Love It

A handsome 1:12 scale porcelain gentleman doll attributed to Debbie Dixon-Paver, dressed in richly detailed period attire and styled with a wonderfully distinctive character. His finely painted face features blue eyes, sculpted dark hair, rosy cheeks, and a slender mustache, giving him a polished late-Victorian or Edwardian appearance.

He wears a textured brown long coat with dark velvet lapels, a beautifully patterned brown, gold, and black paisley-style waistcoat, crisp white high-collared shirt, and a slim dark bow tie with a tiny gold center accent. Tailored black trousers and molded dress shoes complete the ensemble. His flexible body allows him to be posed seated or standing, making him especially useful for creating a lively character scene.

Perfect for

A gentleman’s club, gambling room, card table, saloon, library, study, parlor, hotel lounge, or period social scene. His relaxed styling and expressive face make him particularly well suited as a gambler, club member, businessman, or affluent Victorian gentleman.

A Note About Value

Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.

Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.

A Commitment to Research

Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
