Why You’ll Love It

This enchanting Tudor lady marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Debbie Dixon-Paver and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.

Sculpted with a delicate porcelain face and hands, this noble lady is dressed in an elaborate historical costume inspired by the fashions worn by aristocratic women during the reign of Henry VIII. Her rich brown and gold metallic brocade gown is lavishly detailed with intricate trim work, with contrasting black-and-white accents frame the front of the bodice in a style reminiscent of period kirtles and court dress. She has a high white ruff collar and a French hood embellished with pearl-like seed beads and paired with a flowing dark veil. Suspended from a traditional wooden T-bar controller with miniature strings

Perfect for a puppet maker's shop, Tudor court display, theatrical scene, Renaissance room box, historical vignette, or paired with the matching Henry VIII marionette for a charming royal performance.
