Why You’ll Love It
This enchanting Tudor lady marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Debbie Dixon-Paver and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
The sculpted porcelain face is framed by an elaborate royal headdress inspired by the iconic French hoods worn by noblewomen of the Tudor period. Rich gold filigree ornamentation surrounds a striking faux emerald centerpiece, with a coordinating green jewel accent on her er elegant cream and gold gown that is beautifully layered, featuring an open-weave lace overskirt bordered with luxurious brown velvet "fur" trim. Suspended from a traditional rustic wooden controller with miniature strings.
Perfect for a puppet maker's shop, Tudor court display, theatrical scene, Renaissance room box, historical vignette, or paired with the matching Henry VIII marionette for a charming royal performance.
