Created exclusively for Magpie Miniatures by IGMA Artisan Gosia Suchodolska, the cake features a semi-naked finish, with a light coating of white frosting allowing the warm golden cake layers to softly show through. Cascading down the tiers is a dreamy palette of blush pink, lavender, creamy white, and pale green blossoms, each formed and colored by hand, petal by petal and leaf by leaf.
Part of Gosia’s Garden, this piece beautifully captures the look of a fresh botanical wedding cake in miniature. It is displayed on a hand-thrown pottery pedestal stand created by Gosia’s dear friend and fellow Polish artisan, Anna Wybranowska, making the finished piece an especially lovely collaboration between two makers.
