This enchanting 1:12 scale celebration cake is one of the most romantic pieces in Gosia’s Garden. Created exclusively for Magpie Miniatures by IGMA Artisan Gosia Suchodolska, the three-tier cake features a rustic “naked” finish, with soft white icing lightly veiling the golden sponge beneath. Cascading down the tiers is a hand-sculpted arrangement of wild strawberries, delicate white strawberry blossoms with yellow centers, and finely shaped green leaves.
Every berry, flower, and leaf is individually sculpted and colored by hand, giving the cake a wonderfully natural, garden-gathered feel. The cake is presented on a charming hand-thrown pottery pedestal stand created by Gosia’s dear friend and fellow Polish artisan, Anna Wybranowska, making this an especially lovely collaboration within the collection.
