This little lamb pull toy has been hand-painted and is wonderfully primitive in style for a dollhouse nursery, playroom, or toy shop display. Cast entirely from metal, the sweet lamb is painted in a soft cream color with tiny dark eyes and subtle textured wool, and stands atop a cheerful sky-blue rolling platform fitted with four contrasting mustard-yellow wheels. A light pink collar around its neck adds a delightful pop of color and folk-art appearance. At the front of the cart, a small loop allows a string to be attached, just as a child would have pulled it along the nursery floor.
A wonderful piece for a Victorian nursery, an early twentieth-century child's bedroom, a toy shop display, or tucked beside a rocking horse or dollhouse cradle.
