Why You’ll Love It
Beautifully dressed in the rich fashions of the Tudor court, this elegant Anne of Cleves marionette represents the fourth wife of King Henry VIII in remarkable miniature form. Handcrafted by artisan Almudena Gonzalez, this finely detailed puppet combines historical costume inspiration with theatrical charm, creating a captivating piece for collectors of royal miniatures, Tudor history, and artisan marionettes.
The Queen has a hand-painted porcelain face, styled with blonde hair neatly tucked beneath a soft grey and gold-trimmed French hood headdress. She is dressed in an elaborate Tudor-style gown made of a deep purple linen overskirt that parts in the front. This splits to show a metallic mesh underskirt trimmed with a wide gold band at the bottom hem. Her look is completed by a matching gold chain girdle with a small pink gemstone pendant, and a textured moss-green shawl draped over her shoulders. She hangs suspended by fine black strings from a miniature wooden controller.
Perfect for a puppet theater, Tudor court scene, royal palace, historical vignette, miniature museum display, an old world nursery or playroom, or a collection of artisan marionettes and period characters.
