This refined framed miniature by Hope Hoover reproduces Raphael’s celebrated Portrait of Bindo Altoviti, painted circa 1512–1515 during the High Renaissance. The composition captures the sitter’s famous over-the-shoulder pose, flowing golden hair, and luminous presence against a dark background, giving the portrait its unmistakable elegance and drama. Bindo Altoviti was a wealthy Florentine banker and an important patron of the arts, making this artwork especially fitting for a cultivated historical interior.
