Why You’ll Love It
This exquisite Japanese geisha marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Loretta Kasza and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
The Geisha features a hand-painted porcelain face and hands. Her black hair is styled up into a traditional high bun updo and accented with a tiny white beaded hair ornament. She is dressed in an intricate miniature kimono ensemble. It includes a deep red and gold metallic brocade outer robe with wide sleeves, wrapped with a purple obi sash at the waist, over a solid red underskirt. She hangs suspended by fine strings from a miniature wooden T-bar controller.
Perfect for a puppet maker's workshop, miniature theater, Japanese-inspired room box, cultural display, storybook scene, in a nursery or children's play room.
