Created in 1998 by renowned IGMA Fellow John Hodgson, this elegant three-piece Louis XV salon suite beautifully showcases the artistry that made Hodgson one of the most respected names in fine miniature furniture. The set includes a graceful settee and two matching armchairs, each featuring richly ornamented Rococo frames finished in radiant gold gilt and upholstered in luxurious blue damask silk.
Believed to be among Hodgson's earliest resin editions, these pieces were cast directly from the original master models he created in metal for the British Royal Collection, then expertly hand-gilded in 22kt gold. The result is a museum-quality seating ensemble that faithfully captures the flowing curves, crisp carving, and refined elegance of 18th-century French furniture.
