Why You’ll Love It

An exceptional 1:12 scale travel humidor by Spanish miniature artisan Jose Gomez. The tall burgundy leather case is finished with miniature corner guards, latches, side fittings, carrying handle, and a “HORTON LONDON-PARIS 1890 LUGGAGE” label for the look of antique luxury luggage.

The case opens in two directions: the front door swings outward to reveal five individual pull-out wooden drawers, while the hinged upper lid opens to a fitted cigar compartment. Inside is an assortment of extraordinarily tiny handcrafted miniature cigars, several finished with individually detailed bands. Another drawer is filled with tiny hand sculpted clay smoking pipes. Gomez is especially admired for his highly realistic miniature trunks, luggage, and leather goods, and this piece showcases that meticulous construction beautifully.

Perfect for

A gentleman’s study, library, smoking room, private club, luxury hotel suite, antique luggage display, or collector’s cabinet. Especially striking displayed open so the detailed wooden interior, drawers, and miniature cigars can be seen.

A Note About Value

Every miniature we offer has been carefully evaluated for its craftsmanship, rarity, condition, provenance, and collectibility. Many of the artisan pieces we sell are one-of-a-kind works that may never appear on the market again. While original retail prices provide an interesting historical reference, they rarely reflect decades of appreciation, the artist's legacy, or the scarcity of surviving examples.

Our pricing reflects the miniature's place within today's collector market and the years we've spent studying the artists, histories, and values that make these tiny works of art so special.

A Commitment to Research

Every miniature has a story, and uncovering it is one of our greatest passions. We carefully research each piece, but unsigned or illegible works can remain mysteries. If you can identify an artist or provide additional information, we'd be delighted to hear from you and will gladly update the listing to preserve their legacy.
