This miniature porcelain sculpture captures the extraordinary talent of celebrated Spanish artisan Maria Victoria Heredia Guerbos. Measuring less than an inch tall, a sweet little girl figure with delicately sculpted blonde curls, softly blushed cheeks, and outstretched arms is seated. Cradled in one arm is a tiny woven basket overflowing with microscopic pink roses, while the other hand holds an equally tiny Victorian-style doll dressed in pink. She sits amid a romantic garden setting of moss, bright yellow daffodils and delicate pink blossoms climbing around the base and continuing up the reverse side. Mounted on a brass display base, it is gorgeous at every angle.
