This elaborate 1:12 scale artisan miniature display cabinet was created by Marie-Pierre Gratias of MP Creations and beautifully captures her signature French shabby chic toy shop and nursery aesthetic. The piece features a tall light pink wooden cabinet with multi-paned glass-look doors that open to reveal shelves densely arranged with heirloom-style treasures.
On top sits a jointed cream mohair teddy bear wearing a dark blue ribbon and one of Gratias’ signature antique-style medallions, surrounded by vintage French ephemera, including a “Chocolat Gira Marseille” cat card, an illustrated children’s book, and a tiny alphabet block. Inside the cabinet are carefully layered miniature details, including a Victorian-style bisque doll, a small green teddy bear, stacked hatboxes, folded textiles, and assorted vintage-style paper packages. At the base, French branding details such as the “Maison Fondée… Saintoin Frères” label complete the old-world character of this exceptional piece.
