Why You’ll Love It
This enchanting wizard or scholar gentleman marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Loretta Kasza and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
Dressed in a dark tunic and matching hosen, he is wearing a dramatic black-and-gold metallic brocade travel cloak with a rounded hood. His hand-painted porcelain face is framed by long wispy white hair, a flowing beard, and a full mustache that immediately suggest the wisdom of a learned scholar, wandering sage, or legendary wizard. A delicate gold-tone talisman necklace rests against his dark garments, adding an air of mystery and suggesting hidden knowledge, magical pursuits, or ancient secrets. Suspended from a traditional crossed wooden controller with functioning puppet strings.
Perfect for a puppet maker's workshop, wizard's study, medieval library, fantasy room box, Renaissance fair scene, miniature theater, storyteller's corner, or alongside the other custom marionettes from this extraordinary collection.
