Why You’ll Love It
This charming Scottish Highlander marionette is a one-of-a-kind miniature treasure created by celebrated artisan Loretta Kasza and custom commissioned for Maureen's remarkable puppet maker's workshop collection. Designed as a true marionette for a dollhouse doll to manipulate and perform with.
He has short, curly brown hair, a hand-painted porcelain face, and legs wrapped in crisscrossed black ribbon bands to simulate traditional ghillie brogues or leg lacings. He wears a traditional Scottish kilt outfit featuring a red, green, and blue tartan plaid kilt with a matching sash draped across the shoulder. The sash is pinned with a tiny gold-tone circular kilt pin over a cream-colored textured long-sleeve tunic. He is suspended by fine white strings from a miniature wooden T-bar controller.
Perfect for a puppet maker's workshop, Scottish-themed display, folk-art collection, village scene, cultural vignette, storybook setting, miniature theater, Nursery or children's play room.
