Why You’ll Love It
This incredible 1:12 scale traveling steamer trunk by Sylvia Rountree of The Dolls Cobbler is a beautifully detailed miniature interpretation of an antique luggage trunk, complete with a richly aged reddish-brown real leather exterior, miniature travel labels, and working-style storage details.
The exterior is finished with realistic gold-toned brass hardware, including side handles, vertical leather straps with buckle details, a central latch, and a tiny metal key hanging from the right side. Colorful miniature travel stickers and hotel labels decorate the top and front, including ocean liner and destination-style graphics such as REX Italian Line and Bristol, giving the trunk the look of a well-traveled heirloom.
When opened upright, one side reveals a miniature wardrobe compartment with tiny pink hangers on brass rods, an elasticized fabric storage pouch, and a small lower drawer. The opposite side contains four stacked pull-out drawers with brass ring pulls. The interior and drawer fronts are fully lined in a striking geometric diamond-pattern fabric in blue, green, red, and cream.
This trunk is one piece from a coordinating three-piece luggage set. The other two matching pieces are listed separately.
