Why You’ll Love It
Few miniature animals achieve the remarkable realism found in the work of Japanese artisan Takanashi Takumi, whose highly sought-after creations have become favorites among serious collectors worldwide. This exquisite seal point cat has been made with Takumi's own painstaking fiber-layering technique over clay to create an incredibly lifelike coat. Thousands of delicate fibers are carefully applied to achieve the soft, dimensional appearance of real fur. The cat is depicted standing upright on its hind legs in an expressive begging pose, with both front paws raised gently before its chest. Perhaps asking for a treat, greeting its owner, or anticipating supper. Tiny whiskers, delicate ears, and bright blue eyes give the cat an alert and engaging expression. The cat comes with its original certificate of authenticity, handwritten and dated November 1, 2010.
Place this kitty beside a fireplace, waiting in a kitchen, or standing beside its miniature owner, to add warmth, personality, and exceptional artistry to any dollhouse scene.
