Freshly gathered from the garden and ready for the kitchen, this miniature harvest basket filled with carrots was created by artisan Zara Thompson-Ribeaud. The beautifully woven garden trug basket features delicate openwork sides and a gracefully curved swing handle, the type of traditional harvest basket you might find in cottage gardens and farmhouse kitchens. The hand-sculpted carrots, are each individually shaped with natural variations, subtle roots, and wispy green tops.
The carrots are completely loose and may be arranged inside the basket, displayed individually on a kitchen table, scattered in a garden scene, or placed alongside other produce in a market display.
